The booking, cancellation, and trip-day terms that apply when you book with us.
Thank you for choosing Touch The Himalaya, the flagship Nepal trekking brand. By accessing or using our website, services, or booking a trip, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Services. Please read them carefully before making any reservation.
All trekking and tour packages listed on touchthehimalaya.com.np are operated by Touch The Himalaya. We act as an agent for various service providers including airlines, hotels, and ground transport operators. While we take every care to ensure a smooth experience, we cannot be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from circumstances beyond our direct control, such as weather conditions, political unrest, or acts of nature.
Booking and Payment A valid booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a completed booking form and the required deposit as specified on the trip page. Full payment is due no later than the date stated in your invoice. If payment is not received on time, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and retain any deposit paid.
Cancellation and Refunds Cancellation policies vary by trip. Please refer to the specific cancellation terms provided at the time of booking. In general, cancellations made more than 30 days before departure may receive a partial refund, less a service fee. No refunds are available for cancellations made within 30 days of departure or for unused services, including missed flights, early departure, or voluntary changes to your itinerary.
Travel Insurance It is a condition of booking that all clients hold comprehensive travel insurance that covers trekking at altitude, emergency evacuation, medical expenses, and trip cancellation. We strongly recommend you review your policy to ensure it meets these requirements. Touch The Himalaya is not responsible for any costs incurred due to inadequate insurance.
Health and Fitness Trekking in Nepal requires a reasonable level of physical fitness. By booking with us, you confirm that you are in good health and have no pre-existing medical conditions that may pose a risk during your trip. We reserve the right to refuse participation if, in our opinion, a client is unfit for the trek. No refunds will be given in such cases.
Personal Responsibility You are responsible for your own safety and conduct during the trip. Please follow the guidance of your trek leader at all times. Touch The Himalaya shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from your failure to follow instructions or from your own negligence.
Changes to Itinerary We reserve the right to modify or cancel any itinerary due to weather, trail conditions, flight schedules, or other factors beyond our control. In such cases, we will make every effort to offer a suitable alternative. No refunds will be provided for changes made due to force majeure.
Privacy Your personal information is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described therein.
Governing Law These Terms of Services are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.
We are here to help you have the adventure of a lifetime. If you have any questions about these terms, please contact our team. We look forward to welcoming you to the Himalayas.
