Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP)
Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) is the entry permit required for most treks in Nepal’s Annapurna region, including popular routes such as Annapurna Base Camp, Ghorepani Poon Hill, Mardi Himal, and the Annapurna Circuit. The Annapurna Conservation Area begins near Pokhara and includes a wide range of trekking routes, from short 3–5 day hikes to longer 3–4 week journeys such as the Annapurna Circuit. The current ACAP fee is NPR 3,000 for foreign nationals and NPR 1,000 for SAARC nationals which is roughly USD 22–23 for foreigners depending on the exchange rate.
